Responsibilities
- Provide support for FrontBridge's MySQL databases on an IBM/Red Hat platform. This includes installation, updates/patches, tuning, backups, data retention/archiving/purging, capacity planning and performance tuning.

As a member of the FrontBridge Spam Analysis Team, you will work in a strong collaborative environment to create and update rules in the FrontBridge spam filtering system based on your analysis of both customer-submitted spam and examples captured in our honeypots.
You will also analyze the spam rules database for efficiency, tuning rules for performance and combining or eliminating redundant rules.
Although this is not specifically an application development position, you will have ample opportunity to exercise your programming skills; the spam team creates and maintains its own tools and scripts for analyzing and processing mail logs and spam.
